Mr. Aliko Dangote, speaking immediately after signing the agreement, outlined major investments across cement, power generation, petroleum pipelines, oil refining, and fertilizer. He noted the projects would exceed one billion dollars, largely due to the pipeline, and praised President Mnangagwa’s reforms and transparency, saying they gave investors confidence and showed the President had “passed the exam” of turning the economy around.
