IBBUL Sets March 31 for 2025/2026 Matriculation; Management Issues Final Warning Over Fee Payments and Registration

The Management of Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University (IBBUL), Lapai, has officially announced that the matriculation ceremony for the 2025/2026 academic session will take place on Tuesday, March 31, 2026. This announcement, which was formally communicated earlier this week on Monday, March 16, 2026, serves as a final call to all newly admitted students (freshers) who are to be formally inducted into the institution’s academic community.

Alongside the ceremony date, the university has issued a stern directive regarding central registration and the payment of school fees. All fresh students who have not yet completed their central registration, as well as returning students with outstanding fees, are required to finalize these payments on or before the March 31 deadline. The management has warned that failure to comply with this directive will result in the immediate forfeiture of studentship, as the university has provided sufficient time for all financial obligations to be met to avoid any last-minute embarrassment.

Fresh students who have already completed their payments are advised to contact their respective course representatives or visit the Academic Office for further guidance and information regarding the logistics of the ceremony. The university management, while wishing all students a successful matriculation, emphasized that this exercise is a prerequisite for academic standing. Parents and guardians are also urged to ensure their wards comply with these requirements to ensure a seamless transition into the new academic session.
