The governing council of University of Benin has appointed Bimpe Omoyiwola as its 10th substantive registrar. She will take over from Ademola Bobola, whose tenure ends on March 31, 2026

. Omoyiwola, from Kwara State, holds a Master’s degree in International History and Diplomacy from UNIBEN.

Before her appointment, she served as director of registry at the college of postgraduate studies and is a fellow of the chartered institute of public management of Nigeria.
