In arguably the biggest news of the week, the University of Lagos (UNILAG) officially reinstated its Students' Union (ULSU) on Tuesday, March 24, 2026.

Vice-Chancellor Prof. Folasade Ogunsola presided over the swearing-in of the new executives at Tayo Aderinokun Hall. The new administration, led by President Bolaji Akinpelu, has been termed the "Renaissance Administration," signaling a new era of diplomatic and purposeful student leadership.
