If you’re visiting France, I’d definitely recommend spending some time in Nice. It has a calm, laid-back charm and breathtaking scenery that offers a completely different experience from Paris. I absolutely loved the peaceful atmosphere.

From the high silence of altitude
The fishes dribbled down together
Laughing with their jolly companions
Cradled by cold, cosy ice, that carried their courage

They waved at the sky as they spun and fell

Slipping towards a promised land of abundance
Grins wide, joy immeasured
They descend and dashed at last into oceans and seas

New friends welcomed them without hesitation, with open currents and honest warmth

Water wrapped them in a living embrace
Cheering them into belonging
Above, their old companions dissolved into blue
Soft goodbyes, melting into
the deep

In this new dwelling, they were honoured
They fed on worms, orchids, drifting plankton
Learning rhythm of sharing breath
Growing stronger together

Still, they remembered the sky:
a gentle doorway of virtue and beginning
Divinely crafted to make  them comfortable

A place they once knew

As they multiplied and shimmered across, the waters

Became blessing to the world

Grateful for the fall,

Grateful for the sea

And warm mercy of the ethernal that gave sky permission to let them go
